I Started to apply a thin layer of white gesso on the background to protect it. When dry, I stamped
amaizing text stamp from Creative Embellishments . I glued down mini quatrefoil panel and wood hot hexagons .I covered the chipboards with layer of heavy white gesso .
To alter gorgeous chipboard frame and bird I used black gesso to paint it and Inka gold (old silver)to make it more shiny. When it was dry I spread some glass microbeads and glued it with gel medium. Then, I glued down this frame and spread some Mica Powder (Purple) here and there with a dry brush,I sprayed some water on these spots.
After I sprayed my notebook with mists :13 arts pearl violet , orange , chalk yellow lemon and distress spray stains dusty concord, spiced maramalade , wild honey .Then inked the edges with a black ink pad.
Before and after ;D
So I hope you enjoyed todays post and hope I've given you some inspiration to get out your old notebooks and give them new life ! XOXO Aisha
