Mądra sowa- A wise owl

,,A wise old owl sat on an oak. The more he saw the less he spoke .The less he spoke the more he heard. Why  can't we all be like that bird '' - Edward Hersey Richards -

Hi Today I would like to show you my spring canvas with one of my favorite birds- owl.
As you know I love to play with metal elements . It's always a big fun for me to create something with lots of metal embellishments .

Aby stworzyć interesujące tło użyłam gazę , papier i preparat pękający DecoArt. Do dekoracji sowy użyłam pocięte metalowe serwetki. Następnie przykleiłam wszystkie dodatki: kwiaty , ptaki , łyżkę , metalowe kółka zębate buteleczkę i wiele innych. Pokryłam je czarnym gessem oraz pomalowałam farbami akrylowymi DecoArt i mgiełkami Distress spray stain. Kiedy wszystko wyschło nałożyłam palcami Inkę Gold.

For my background I used lots of gazue , tissue papier and DecoArt crackle glaze to add more intereting texture. I cut into the pieces metal doily and decorating this beautiful owl. Then I glued all embellishments : flowers , birds ,spoon ,gears, bottle and many ,many others.I covered it with black gesso and painted over it with DecoArt acrylic paints and Distress spray stain. When everything dry I used fingers to add some highlights with Inka Gold.

Mam nadzieję ,że spodobał Wam się mój mix mediowy wiosenny blejtram . Pozdrawiam Aisha
I hope you have enjoyed my mix media spring canvas . Hugs Aisha

Mermaid in a jar

“She loved the sea. She liked the sharp salty smell of the air, and the vastness of the horizons bounded only by a vault of azure sky above. It made her feel small, but free as well.” ― George R.R. Martin, A Storm of Swords

Happy spring Everyone !!Today  I would like to show you a new project for Cretive Embellishments. I'ts altered jar with awesome steampunk mermaid inside. I like to altered some old bottles or  jars, and transform them into something different and magical. I love fantasy creatures and I just had vision in my head to create underwater world in a jar. This is the reason why I love love love Creative Embellishments chipboards they have a huge selection of fantasy magical chippies like : unicorns, mermaids or dragons. Ok here we go !

First I layer coat of clear gesso on my jar , while the gesso is still wet I start layering some gazue. In some places I add some  crackle clear paste and white crackle paste.I altered gears and rings with black gesso . When it dry I glued all metal keys ,cogs , cabochons and seaweed on the jar .I also add some real shells , microbeads and texture sand paste .I left  the jar to dry overnight ,because I used lots of gesso and glue.

To create inside of the jar I used reindeer moss for a background , then I placed some sheels and small old bottle .I painted this beautiful steampunk mermaid with black gesso and some mettalic colors .I also covered seaweed with white gesso and painted with green tones .

On the top of the jar I glued steampunk clock and metal flower. I painted them with acrylic paints an mettalic paints .
In the last step I add some sea colors. I started with the greens and then I used some blue tones. Misting all around the jar.

Fairy Dust

,,There's no star too far, and no dream too grand. So shake the fairy dust ,and make a wish, the magic's is in your hands.'

Hi my friends .Today I would like to show you a very magical canvas. This is a gift for my lovley niece .She loves fairys , so I decide to create for her something miraculous. I wanted to show her that she do not have to be afraid of the dark, because in dark ,can also happen something magical. Smile on her face -Priceless ;D

I used delightful fairy from Creative Embellishments. To alter my fairy I started out with coat of white gesso . I have added some modeling paste through the flourish stencil. On  the wings I put some glitter  . I also painted them with metallic paints : turquise, blue, violet  .And now the magic begins.  I used magic dust on the wings so that they can glow at night( the same dust is in the bottle , but shhhh this is a secret; ) In last step I used some tulle to create a skirt.

To create my background I add some modelling paste through flourish stencil. Stick some cut paper and some lace .Then I added some embellishments : flourishfairy button , flowers . I also added beautiful circle frame , which I covered with white gesso .

To make the texture of my page even more interesting ,I sprinkled some micro beads. I cover them with white gesso .As the final step ,I started playing with colors.I used mists 13 arts and paints: pearl violet , turquise light ,sky blue .Mica powders: blue opal magic, lilac opal magic .

And this is how fairy glow in the dark;)It's hard to take a picture in the dark ;)

I hope you enjoyed my make and found it inspirational;)
