Gabinet Osobliwości- Cabinet of Curiosities

Już za kilka dni wybieram się na długo wyczekiwane 11 Dolnośląskie Warsztaty Craftowe we Wrocławiu .Uwielbiam tą atmosferę , wszędzie biegają ludzie w szale zakupowym , przy stolikach tworzone są różne różności , a na górze w sklepiku czeka na nas przepyszne jedzenie ;)Oczywiście nie można zapomnieć  o samych warsztatach, na których w roześmianej atmosferze można nauczyć się nowych technik , poznać interesujących ludzi i stworzyć oryginalne twory.
Stwierdziłam , że w tym roku w końcu zabiorę się za stworzenie swojego identyfikatora. Zawsze obawiałam się tak małych projektów , bo jak mam zmieścić cały swój świat na tak małej przestrzeni .

In a few days Im going on 11 DWC  craft workshops in Wroclaw .Love this atmosphere there , you can learn new techniques, meet interesting people and create oryginal projects.
I decided that in this year I create my ID .I always afraid of a small projects, because how I can put all my world in a such small space.

Starałam się połączyć w nim wszystko co uwielbiam: steampunk, retro , fantasy wymieszane ze stylem mix media . Stworzyłam  gabinet osobliwości w stylu retro , w którym możecie znaleźć małego obrażonego skrzata ,clowna ,ważkę oraz inne postacie. Nie mogło zabraknąć moich ulubionych elementów : buteleczek , części zegarków i  metalowych dodatków .

I wanted to show you everything what I love :steampunk , vintage, fantasy and mix media style.I created  Cabinet of Curiosities in a vintage style . You can find here a little elf, a clown , a dragonfly and others characters.You can find also my favorite elements: small bottles, parts of clocks and metal embelishments

 

Moją kolejną miłością jest steampunk, uwielbiam  rozkręcać zegarki na malutkie części i wplatać je w swoje projekty . Dlatego też mój identyfikator ma drugie dno . Chciałam wam pokazać miłość w stylu steampunk ,metalowe serce wypełnione trybikami , sekretami oraz wspomnieniami ukryte w tajemniczej skrytce .Taka właśnie jestem , największą radość sprawia mi wolność tworzenia ,trochę bałaganu i nieoczywiste połączenia z przymrużeniem oka . 

 

My other love is steampunk , I like to dismantle watches for a tiny parts and add them to my projects.Thats why my ID has a secret hiding place.I wanted to show you love in a steampunk style .Metal heart filled with cogs, secrets and memories , hidden in a secret place . This is what I love the most in art : freedom to create ,a little bit of a mess and art with a touch of humour.

The Lion's Share- Lwia Część

Hi my crafty friends! Today Im up on Creative Embellishments with a new mix media canvas. I was inspired by beautiful song LemON-lwia część.  This is a song which  I always have in my heart.When I hear it I always think about my Dad. He was wonderful  person and I really miss him .

Witam wszystkich serdecznie!Dzisiaj pojawiam się na blogu Creative Embellishments z moim nowym mix mediowym blejtramem.Zainspirowałam się przepiękną piosenką zespołu LemON-lwia część.Kiedy pierwszy raz usłyszałam tą piosenkę moje serce rozbiło się na tysiąc kawałeczków. Cały czas siedziała mi w głowie , a kiedy ją słyszałam zawsze przypominał mi się mój ukochany Tato. Bardzo długo tworzyłam ten blejtram chciałam w nim zawrzeć ,całą moją tęsknotę za bardzo bliską dla mnie osobą .


First I covered background with gesso , then I added lion's image .To decorate the lion , firstly give the photo a coat of clear gesso.  I cut into the pieces metal flowers and I started decorating a lion. Rozpoczęłam od nałożenia warstwy gessa . Następnie dodałam zdjęcie lwa , na które nałożyłam przezroczyste gesso . Zdjęcie udekorowałam pociętymi na kawałki metalowymi kwiatkami oraz       ozdobami.

For my background I used lots of gazue and papier to add more interesting texture . When I finished , I glued all embellishments ; flowers, buttons , raven ,wood gears . I also added beautiful feathers which I cut out  of dream catcher. I covered everything with black gesso .These chippies are amazing, they can handle lots of paints and mediums and still hold up.  When that was dry I used fingers and added  some highlights with inka gold : silver ,  old silver and gold. In some places I used mica powders ; purple , pale silver and frozen lake.

Aby stworzyć ciekawe tło użyłam papier śniadaniowy oraz gazę .Następnie używając gel medium przykleiłam wszystkie dodatki :kwiaty, trybiki, guziki i metalowe dodatki. Dodatkowo dodałam przepiękne piórka , które wycięłam z łapacza snów.Wszystko pokryłam czarnym gesso. Kiedy wyschło nałożyłam palcami inkę gold:silver, old silver i gold.Użyłam także mica powders :purple, pale silver i frozen like.

Anything but cute -bring in the new I first time used clear gesso , inka gold -silver and metal flowers which I used to decoraiting a lion's mane.

Steampunk Altered Bottle

,,I will write peace on your wings , and you will fly all over the world '' -Sadako Sasaki -

Hi my crafty friends! Today I have somethng special for you - steampunk altered bottle.When my sister was on vacation she bought me a bottle filled with shells.I thought to give a second life to this bottle.With all this terrible things happening around the world, I thought I would love to create altered bottle filled with love , faith and peace.

 I started with applying layer of white gesso on the bottle.After drying I applied in some places a thick layer of White Crackle paste. Next I glued some gazue to add more texture. I love Creative Embellishments steampunk gears and cogs so I add some of them.

 I wanted to give  my wings look more steampunk. I painted them with black gesso , then I added some gears and also painted them with gesso. I used perlen pen and put on along the wings .When it dry I cover it with black gesso and just touch with gold bronze inka gold.

In the middle I placed frame with cabochon .I put inside photo , cogs and wing. I glued all embellishmens : little botlle, cogs,crown, and clock.I also added some black Mickro beads and microspheres here and there. On the top I added key to wind up.

     
In last  step I start to added some colours. I used Prima Mica Powders :  bottled green ,rust and gold . Mists : 13 Arts olive green , old gold , Dylusions Ink calypso teal and Inka Gold: jadegreen , gold brown . Maybe you also have some old bottles that are just waiting to give them new, more colourful life .

Happy New Year - Creative Embellishments Challenge

Happy New Year everyone !!! I hope that this new year 2016 will be filled with happines and  warmth .This month at Creative Embellishments  we have this lovlely pic to inspire you with gorgeos colours and elements .The twist for your project is to add something circular .
When i saw this month’s challenge picture i immediately knew i wanted to do a steampunk canvas . I was inspired by the colours - blue , white  and brown. I  was also inspired by the lights . I added to my canvas Industrial Light Hanging Chandelier  I’ve cut it in pieces . I also used my favorites chipboards gears large , medium , small   and Steampunk frame. I applied on them white and black gesso . Then I used mists silver and gold 13 arts and mica powders , gold , rust and silver .For my title I choose  Happy New Year   which I painted with my mica powders mists : frozen lake , summer sky  and blue . I covered  surface with white crackle paste I love this crackle effect .

Christmas Shadow Box

Happy Monday my friends! Aisha here to share this Christmas shadow box using some fabulous Creative Embellishments Chipboard pieces! I made it for my Grandmother she lives far away so I made a gift for her. I hope that she will like it ;) This is my first Christmas shadow box , and Im happy with the results. This awesome shadow box is from Retro Kraft Shop and I just love it .

I paint box with white gesso . Next I added crackle paste and using my finger I spread the glitter snow .I used  snowflakes  and snowflake page corner  that I covered  with gesso then painted over it with glitter paint and glitter snow.

I just love Creative Embellishments snowflake borders they are so detailed and beautiful. I covered them with white gesso and added some glitter to make them sparkle.

My chipboard title from the Snow word set was colored with white gesso and mica powder gold, 13 arts paint old gold. I also added some glitter snow on the top.

I altered lamp from lamp post set  with white gesso , crackle paste and mica powder gold , distress ink vintage photo.

,,There are Angels all around us  we just have to learn to feel their Wings ''

 Hello Aisha with you today ! . I want to show you frosty ,snowy canvas with winter Angel . Creative Embellishments has so many awesome winter chipboards that I can used in my project. This canvas is a gift for my friend she loves Angels I hope she like it:)

 First on my background I used snowflakes stencil . Also I add some crackle white paste and white glitter.Then I start to added all embelishments flowers, metal pieces, chippies and my favorite prima angels  .I alter my snowflakes with white gesso and white glitter . Beautiful flourish and moroccan panel  I paint with white gesso and add some crackle paste.
To add more texture I used gauze and micro glass beads. All my embellishments I paint with white gesso and start to spray colours . I used mica powder blue , pearl silver and old silver paint . On flowers I added some silver glitter. The final step was to add a little magic to the whole image. I used mica powder blue opal magic I added on the wings of an angel and around  to make it looks like glow.
